Occupational Therapist
Emily Jirkovsky is an Occupational Therapist who currently treats children and adults at our Hallettsville and Yoakum clinics. She was born in Houston, Texas, but her family is from around the Lavaca County area. She attended Sam Houston State University to receive her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology. Emily then went to the University of St. Augustine and received her Masters in Occupational Therapy. She entered OT to foster a better quality of life for her patients, bring joy to children with special needs, and to provide care and support for those in need.
Emily’s special areas of interest within the clinic include orthopedics, pediatrics, and vision therapy. She is a certified provider of the The Listening Program and has goals to become a certified hand therapist. Outside of work, she loves going to the movie theater with her husband, gardening, playing with her dog Buster, sewing, attending concerts and Astros games, and camping at the river with friends.
