Kadee Bludau

Speech Language Pathologist

Kadee Bludau is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who has been practicing speech pathology since 2014 and looks forward to her job everyday. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Texas in Austin. Kadee specializes in pediatrics with an expertise in early childhood intervention, developmental disabilities, oral-motor, feeding, and speech-language disorders. She loves working with the families and includes them extensively in the therapy sessions. Kadee grew her passion for empowering children at the Rise School of Austin, where she led speech groups, applied play-based therapy, and focused on inclusion in the classroom. Kadee has worked in pediatric clinics in Austin and Houston, where she implemented DIR®/Floortime™ (or floortime, child-led) therapy approach to treat children with a variety of needs from autism to apraxia to stuttering. She participated in a program with the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas that focused on parent training for oral motor and speech skills. While her primary experience has been in pediatrics, Kadee has helped lead cognitive and speech programs for stroke survivors and has recently received training in Lee Silverman’s Voice Treatment for Parkinson’s patients. Kadee believes the key to successful therapy includes understanding each person and their individual strengths and motivations. She was born and raised in Hallettsville, TX, and is happy to be making it her permanent home. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, going on hiking trips, and spending time with family; checking cows with her dad and hunting/fishing with family.
