Speech Language Pathologist
Katie Broom is a licensed speech language pathologist who has been practicing speech therapy since 2018. She is a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and a Master of Arts degree in Communication Disorders. Katie worked in the New Braunfels area until returning back to her hometown in 2020. She has experience with a variety of speech and language disorders as well as swallowing disorders in both children and adults. She chose to be an SLP to help other communicate and advocate for their wants and needs.
Katie was born and raised in Hallettsville as part of the Wagner family. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, Nathan and their 2 boys, Eli and Luke. She and her husband are expecting their third child in December. They enjoy doing anything outdoors and by the water! Some of her hobbies include riding horses, fishing, working out and traveling to new places with her family.
